Rebecca Brenner

MD/PhD Candidate

“Rebecca Brenner is an MD/PhD candidate in the Medical Scientist Training Program at Washington University in St. Louis. She is pursuing her PhD in Neuroscience and is a fellow in the Imaging Sciences Pathway. Rebecca is broadly interested in using newborn neuroimaging and neuroprediction to study typical and atypical development in children. Her work in the WUNDER lab focuses on combining multiple imaging modalities, specifically functional MRI and Diffusion Tensor Imaging, to predict the development of anxiety, depression, ADHD, aggression and autism in both preterm and full term infants. Prior to working in the WUNDER lab, Rebecca earned her B.S. at Duke University where she double majored in Philosophy and Neuroscience. Outside of lab, she enjoys yoga, board games, drawing and hiking with her puppy.”
